Today I found a very funny while interesting post (http://elegantcode.com/2013/02/22/confessions-of-a-sublime-text-aholic/).
A developer needed to quickly remove all empty lines from a very large text file. The solution they came up with, using Sublime Text, was:
- Press
CTRL-F
- Enable regular expressions (the button entirely in the bottom-left corner).
- Search for
^\s*$
- Press
ALT-ENTER
(click on the “Find all” button). - Hit the backspace button.
- Done!
- Be merry …
